SPECIAL MEETING NOTICE

Notice is hereby given that the Council of the City of New Castle, PA, will hold a Special Meeting on Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at 7:30 p.m., the meeting will be held virtually via Zoom, for the purpose of acting on the following Council Bills:

Final Action on Council Bill No. 2020-39 2021 Proposed Budget.  (Introduced by Mr. Fulkerson at the 11/24/2020 Council Meeting.)

Final Action on Council Bill No. 2020-40 Amending Part Three, Title Five, ARTICLE 341 of the Codified Ordinances of the City of New Castle, Pennsylvania, titled:  “Earned Income Tax”, by adding a new Section 341.21 titled “ADDITIONAL IMPOSITION; RATE FOR THE YEAR 2021″. (Introduced by Ms. Gavrile at the 11/24/2020 Council Meeting.)

Final Action on Council Bill No. 2020-41 Levying a tax and fixing the tax rate for all City purposes upon the valuation of such property as has been or might hereafter be assessed and subject to taxation for the year 2021.  (Introduced by Mr. Cioppa at the 11/24/2020 Council Meeting.)

Final Action on Council Bill No. 2020-42 Amending ARTICLE 131, SECTIONS 131.13 – General Purchase Policy; 131.18 – Purchases Under $20,100.00; and 131.19 – Emergency Purchases, of the Codified Ordinances of the City of New Castle, by raising the minimum for sealed bidding. (Introduced by Ms. Gavrile at the 12/21/2020 Council Meeting.)

Introduce Council Bill No. 2020-43 Amending and Supplementing the Codified Ordinances of the City of New Castle, Pa, by Adopting ARTICLE 184 – New Castle Greater Recreational Authority.
