Project Overview

This project involves the replacement of the SR 2006 Section L03 (East Washington Street) Bridge over Neshannock Creek which is located between the intersections with East Street and SR 108 Croton Avenue in the City of New Castle, Lawrence County.

The existing two (2) span elliptical reinforced concrete arch bridge will be replaced with a two (2) span precast spread box beam bridge.  The proposed abutments will be placed behind the existing walls and the existing pier will be replaced.  The proposed structure will maintain four (4) travel lanes at a width of 10′ each and 10′ sidewalks on each side.  There will be minor roadway approach work to tie into the new bridge deck.  The existing light poles will be reset on the proposed bridge and architectural treatments will be incorporated into the new structure.

LIVE Public Meeting Opportunity

A Live Virtual Public Meeting will be held via Teams LIVE on Thursday, December 16th from 5 PM to 6:30 PM.  The meeting will include a presentation on the project as well as an opportunity for attendees to ask questions via the chatbox to the Project Team.
