New Castle City Council is taking Letters of Interest for the vacant seventh (7th) Council Member Seat. The individual appointed will serve the remainder of a two (2) year term.
Requirements are:
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must be a registered voter of the City who has resided in the City for a period of one (1) year before the primary election.
Letters of Interest are due by 4:00 p.m. on Friday, January 26, 2024. Letters of Interest can be submitted via email to CityClerk@newcastlepa.org or dropped off in person at the City Clerk’s Office, City Building, 230 N. Jefferson Street, New Castle, PA 16101.
Interviews will be conducted on Monday, February 5th, 2024 at a time to be determined.
