The City of New Castle Parking Department is pleased to announce the addition of pay by phone parking throughout our downtown.  The City has partnered with Passport to provide this pay by phone service.  You can use Passport either by downloading the Passport Parking App or visiting m.ppprk.com.

Also, with the addition of Passport, downtown businesses can set up accounts and validate their customers’ parking for them.  The business account address is: https://ppprk.com/apps/validation/#dashboard.  Business owners can also click on the following link to guide them through the set-up process:  Passport Paperless Validation.

People who wish to use coins, will still be able to do so.  The prices per hour are the same if you choose to use coins or pay by phone.  A convenience fee of $.25 is added to your total if you choose to pay by phone.  The first level of the Parking Garage will be pay by phone only.  These will be the spaces that had the old meters in place.  Instructions for downloading Passport for parkers:  Passport Parking Setup.  If you have any questions about the new program or any other parking questions, please feel free to contact the Parking Department at 724-656-3561.
