New Castle,

Like all cities, over the years the City of New Castle has had its ups and downs.  I will strive to improve the quality of life for all citizens.  This goal will require my commitment, as well as the commitment of many community leaders and organizations, and countless citizens.

Great strides have been  made in preserving and improving our city, from the residential neighborhoods to the downtown business districts.  Business owners are interested in remaining and locating in our city because we have made it a point to provide attractive financing and tax incentives, coupled with existing commerce parks, an enterprise zone, and a skilled and ambitious work force.

Families, both young and old, continue to recognize that low cost, stately homes, in quiet neighborhoods, with a full range of municipal services, are available to them in New Castle.   My experience as Mayor of the City of New Castle will enable me to discover the wealth of resources with which our community has been blessed.

We hope that this introduction to the City of New Castle, Pennsylvania will lead you to want to learn more about our community and that ultimately, we will have the pleasure of your becoming a part of it.
